My Date With The Books – The Memoir Of An Avid Reader
At the age of 15, Rami Misbah Taha was just like any other high school boy except that he also ran a club of bibliophiles with over 100 followers. A good two decades have passed, but my passion for books have not left me.
A demanding career, family pressure, busy schedule – nothing could stop me from continuing my love affair with printed letters. Be it the routine bedtime reads or an extended tryst with one of my favorite novels on a rainy day with a smoking cup of coffee in hands, reading always takes me to the cloud nine. As I delve deeper into a story, I feel like I have reached another world. And just like other prolific readers, I cannot just stop at reading a book; I make it a point to make others read it, too.
My friends, my family and all other people who know me personally, also know that genre of a book does not matter to Rami Misbah Taha. From thriller to romantic novels, I love reading just about any book that has a good story line. To those, curious to know how to read more books, my advice is read whatever you want to read, and not what you feel pressured to read.
